Greetings,
During its February 2026 meeting, the Commission elected Commissioner
Eric Sklar as its president and Commissioner Darius Anderson as its vice
president; they are expected to remain in their roles until the next
election, which is normally held each year during the February
Commission meeting.
Assignments to the committees remain unchanged, with commissioners
Sklar and Murray co-chairs of the Marine Resources Committee,
commissioners Zavaleta and Anderson co-chairs of the Wildlife Resources
Committee, and Commissioner Hostler-Carmesin chair of the Tribal
Committee (with another commissioner joining meetings when possible).
