Re: Recommendation 4a from the 11th Part 12D Safety Inspection Report and Follow-up
Item 6 from the 2015 Annual Dam Safety Inspection
Dear Mr. Cruzen:
This is in response to a letter dated May 31, 2023, from Mr. Robert Ellis that
notified this office of the completion of Recommendation 4a from the 11th Part 12D
safety inspection report and the follow-up item 6 from the 2015 annual dam safety
inspection at Grizzly Forebay Dam, which is part of the Bucks Creek Hydroelectric
Project, FERC No. 619. We have reviewed your submittal, and we have no comments.
The plan and schedule to repair the observed spallings at the upstream vertical joints and
dam face by August 31, 2026, is acceptable.
We appreciate your continued efforts in this aspect of our dam safety program. If
