HomeMy WebLinkAboutADM-26-0008 Bonfire Storytelling Info Revised 05-04-26Minor Use Administrative PermitBonfire Storytelling61 Floating Cloud Dr. Chico 95928June 12-14, 2026 Planner:Georgia Zweber, Property Owner 1 Project Description: Bonfire Storytelling 2 •We are requesting a Festival Event Administrative Permit for a 2.5 day local storytelling event (Bonfire). •This is a well regarded,wholesome community event that has taken place monthly at Chico Womens’Club for 3 years.This is the 3-year anniversary show. •The 7.3 acre property has a home at NE end,with 3100 square foot barn on the SW end used until recently for orchard equipment.The event will use the enclosed barn and 1.5 acres of the property for outdoor lawn area seating outside of the barn,plus porta potties and food truck east and parking (25-40 spots,3 ADA spaces)in the main open field and lawn area located NW of the barn. Project Description: Bonfire Storytelling 3 •The event portion of the p roperty is a 5-acre open field on a private road (previously an almond orchard).Barn seating will be for 50 with tables immediately outside for show personnel and intermission;total capacity of approximately 60 people per show •Storytelling event dates/times: •Friday 6/12/26:6p-9p 50 attendees •Sat.6/13 &Sun.6/14/26:12p,3p,and 6p. 50 attendees each.Over and out at 9p •No harvest activities will be impacted.
