•We are requesting a Festival Event Administrative Permit for a
2.5 day local storytelling event (Bonfire).
•This is a well regarded,wholesome community event that has
taken place monthly at Chico Womens’Club for 3 years.This is
the 3-year anniversary show.
•The 7.3 acre property has a home at NE end,with 3100 square foot
barn on the SW end used until recently for orchard equipment.The
event will use the enclosed barn and 1.5 acres of the property for
outdoor lawn area seating outside of the barn,plus porta potties
and food truck east and parking (25-40 spots,3 ADA spaces)in the
main open field and lawn area located NW of the barn.

•The event portion of the p roperty is a 5-acre open field on a
private road (previously an almond orchard).Barn seating will
be for 50 with tables immediately outside for show personnel and
intermission;total capacity of approximately 60 people per show
•Storytelling event dates/times:
•Friday 6/12/26:6p-9p 50 attendees
•Sat.6/13 &Sun.6/14/26:12p,3p,and 6p.
50 attendees each.Over and out at 9p
•No harvest activities will be impacted.

•Neighbors have been informed/agreed.Property owner will
continue follow up.
•Attendees will be encouraged to carpool,ride bikes or walk when
possible.There will be 8-10 volunteers at all times coordinating
car parking and departure
•Security will be provided by Power Security Solutions.2 security
personnel.Licensed and local.
•Professional security staff will assist with parking supervision and
mind overall compliance with comportment ensuring attendees
remaining within event areas.

•Cars will be parked in teams of two with fire lanes every 30 feet
•Spoke with Adam Kingsley from DSBuilding on May 1 who
advised sending drawing of barn seating (see previous slide)
•ANSI Class B 50-person first aid kit & station will be at barn by
food truck
•3 large fire extinguishers in barn, hoses & water connected and
available outside barn door
•Clean up will be handled by event volunteers & property owner
