In this second of three regional MPA meetings the Commission will hear directly from petitioners, and receive input from individuals, tribes, and organizations. This meeting focuses on MPA petitions affecting San Luis Obispo through Santa Barbara counties, as well as the northern Channel Islands and Santa Barbara Island. California Natural Resources Agency, 715 P Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 Klamath River Basin. Members of the public are welcome to attend in person to observe or provide public comment. The Commission also plans to offer Zoom webinar and phone options. Instructions on how to join using these options will be posted to the Commission website prior to the meeting. While the Commission will make a reasonable effort to ensure remote access is available, it cannot guarantee the accessibility or functionality of these options. The final regional MPA meeting is scheduled for May 19. A table showing how all petitions are distributed across the three regional meetings is posted on the Commission meetings page, and is available at this link.
