Subject: Post - Seizure Fair Hearing
Hello,
I am writing to formally request a Post-Seizure Fair Hearing pursuant to California Penal
Code 597.1 regarding the seizure of my horses Parker, Lillith, P² and Amber.
This request is being made to determine whether the seizure was legally justified and
whether the boarding, care, and associated fees currently being assessed are
reasonable and lawful.
Please confirm receipt of this request in writing and provide the date, time, and format of
the hearing as soon as possible.
I am making this request prior to agreeing to or paying any fees, and I am asserting my
right to this hearing under the statute.
