Greetings,
The agenda for the May 19, 2026 California Fish and Game Commission
meeting has been revised to:
Indicate that the meeting will be conducted via teleconference,
with commissioners participating in San Clemente and Trinidad;
Combine previous agenda items 6 and 7 as Agenda Item 6 (A) and
(B); and
Adjust the start time of the meeting to 8:30 a.m.
Instructions on how to participate will be posted to the Commission
website prior to the meeting. While the Commission will make a
reasonable effort to ensure remote access is available, it cannot
guarantee the accessibility or functionality of these options.
Note that due to a significant agenda and anticipated number of
speakers, attendees should prepare for the timing identified in the
agenda and meeting expectations document. While we did signal that
the chair of the meeting may adapt timing as the meetings evolve and
lessons are learned, we cannot guarantee consistency in speaking time
from one meeting to the next.
A table showing how all petitions are distributed across the three regional
meetings is posted on the Commission meetings page and is available at
this link.
Please refer to the agenda for important meeting information and
deadlines, including detailed meeting goals, expectations, and speaking
guidelines, and format.
