Dept. of Development Services 7 County Center Drive Oroville, CA 95965 September 29, 201 6 Re: Garner Family Boundary Line Modification at AP Nos. 007-010-036, -037. -060 and -06 1 2 I I Sycamore Lane, Chico, CA Dear~s: The owners of the referenced properties have requested City approval of a Boundary L ine Modification (BLM), involving two legal parcels that each exist partly within City Limits and partly within unincorporated County territory. The proposed BLM would re-orient the shared property line such that it conforms to the City/County boundary line (see enclosed maps). No development is proposed in connection with the BLM. To facilitate efficient processing of the requested BLM, the City of Chico is requesting concurrence from the County of Butte to assume jurisdiction over the two parcels for the purpose of consi dering the proposed Jot line adjustment. To support this request the City of Chico certifies the fo llowing: 1. The City of Chi co requests authorization to review, approve, and issue a Certificate of Compliance on the resultant Jots of the proposed BLM. 2. The City of Chico will assume the County's responsibilities for assuring compliance with applicable State and Federal laws in connection with the requested BLM. 3. This request applies to two legal lots of record, comprised of four Assessor's Parcels identified as 1) 007-01 0-036 and 007-0 10-03 7, and 2) 007-010-060 and 007-01 0-061. 4. The subject site is located partly within Chico City Limits and partly within the unincorporated territory of the County of Butte, and the proposed BLM would eliminate this cross-jurisdictional issue for the site.
