After further research, I have discovered that your property lies within the Airport Compatibility Zone Area ā€œCā€. Unless you have a specific density (1 dwelling unit per .25 acre lot OR at least a 10 acre parcel) you cannot have a Second Dwelling. Your parcel is 2.5 acres and does not meet the density requirements, therefore you cannot have a Second Dwelling. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. If you have any questions regarding the density of your property per the Airport Compatibility Plan please contact Senior Planner Mark Michelena at 530-538-7376.
