pad.Install chain link security fence
minimum 6'-6" clear from sides of
magazines. Install gate centered in
fence on front side of magazines.
CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Contractor shall verify all dimensions.
2. Contractor shall Install galvanized 1 inch mesh 9 ga security chain link fence, 10' high;
w/ 4"Ø end posts and 2-7/8"Ø line posts, schedule 40; top rail – 1-5/8"Ø, schedule 40;
ties – 12 Ga. Steel; bottom tension wire – 7 Ga. Coil.
3. Contractor shall install framework, fabric, accessories and gate in accordance with
ANSI/ASTM F567, Chain Link Manufacturers Institute Product Manual – 2011, and
manufacturer’s instructions.
4. Contractor shall Install line posts maximum 8' on center. Posts set 36" in 10-12"Ø
concrete filled posthole.
5. Concrete for posts shall have a 28-day compressive strength of 2,500 psi, 3 inch
slump; one inch nominal sized coarse aggregate.
6. Install 3' wide swing gate centered between the front of the two magazines.
7. Contractor shall remove debris, junk and trash from site, and dispose of legally.
COUNTY RESPONSIBILITY:
1. County will provide access as reasonable for Contractor to perform work.
2. County will coordinate work with tenants as needed.
3. County will provide Project Manager.
