As part of the processing/review of your permit (ADM15-0020) Environmental Health evaluated your septic and fresh water systems. Butte County Zoning Ordinance code 24-75 (Camping) states: Camping in a currently registered recreational vehicle connected to approved power, including power from a local utility, solar energy system, wind energy system, batteries and/or generator, an approved sewage disposal system and approved domestic water supply shall be limited to 180 or fewer days annually. Upon review it was discovered that you do not have a usable well permitted by the Environmental Health Division. The permit for the well you drilled in 2013 expired 06/04/2014 (see Environmental Health permit EHWS13-0140). To final the EHWS permit and gain approval for your ADM permit you need to contact Environmental Health (1.530.538.7281) and reference ADM15-0020. According to the Environmental Health Division, without electricity the well pump will not function, nor is the well permitted, and therefore no permitted potable water is available. A reliable potable water supply is necessary to meet the requirements of the camping permit (see above code section). You have until September 20, 2015 to contact me regarding this permit and either get finaled, or make progress to final, your well. Otherwise ADM15-0020 will be denied. You can contact me directly at 1.530.538.2953 Monday – Friday 8:00-4:00, you can also email me at tweems@buttecounty.net. Sincerely, Tristan Weems Assistant Planner
