HomeMy WebLinkAboutANDERSON BROTHERS DRAFT EMAILChuck and Pete, For your review before I send to Dave (Pete, see his last email with preference for mini storage) Hi Dave, We have a possible (the process is discretionary) path forward if you would still like to have a ministorage building. The process would involve approval of a Conditional Use Permit to allow for your structure to be built as proposed. This is per the Development Agreement. In addition, this CUP would also cover the two nearby storage buildings that, while we will continue to search for past approvals/building permits, if we cannot find them and unless you provide evidence of building permits for these two buildings, they would also be permitted in conjunction with the CUP. The CUP would have to undergo environmental review and the cost for such a CUP is: $6,163.69 and if there is any time beyond the allotted 16 hours for planning, there would be additional billing. The CUP process takes 3-6 months. If you proposed retail/warehouse we would need a new floor plan and Environmental Health clearance. The new floor plan must show the conditioned retail space and separate warehouse space. Each unit must have its own retail space. A rough estimate of the projected County Wide Impact fees for a floor plan that shows 1000 square feet of retail (total) and 5000 square feet of warehousing (total) is approximately $36,000. Let me know how you want to move forward, if you have any questions let me know. I personally still think that mini storage is the best use and fits in the best with the existing area and existing uses.
