WHAT IS THE HOUSING ELEMENT?
The Housing Element is an important component of the
County’s General Plan. It is a policy guide that describes
housing-related needs and resources in the community,
parƟcularly the availability, affordability, and adequacy
of housing. The Housing Element establishes a strategy
to address housing needs for community members
across the economic and social spectrum.

PUBLIC WORKSHOP
The County has just begun the process of
updaƟng its Housing Element. BuƩe County
invites you to parƟcipate in a workshop to learn
more about the update process, help idenƟfy
specific needs and opportuniƟes, and share
your insights and ideas on how the County can
improve housing opportuniƟes in the future.
