PROJECT NAME: Chico Creek Vet Hospital – Additional of 5% in Area (213 sq. ft.) ; APN 042-100-047, 3449 SR

The Planning Division has received the attached request for a modification of Use Permit UP87-58 which permitted
the remodel and expansion of the vet clinic and kennel at 3449 SR32, Chico, CA 95973. The request asks for
Scope of Project: The total number of kenneled dogs will not increase. We will be removing all of the concrete
and fencing associated with the existing outdoor kennels. That area will be replaced with grass. The new grass area
will be used as an exercise area for dogs that will be housed in the new indoor kennel & treatment buildings as well
as the existing treatment room. Matching the new roof to the existing roof would make the two buildings look more
uniform. This would entail and extra 213 sq. ft. of new lot coverage.
Please review this request and either verify below that the minor modification is consistent with the application, fees
and mitigations, as reviewed and approved by your Department / Division or determine the request is not consistent
requiring a Planning Commission hearing to act on the proposed change.
