RE: Verizon Wireless Telecommunications Facility: “Skyway” located at 4842 Media Way,
Paradise, CA 95969
Dear Mr. Hickel,
Complete Wireless Communications, Inc. represents Verizon Wireless and we write to you in that
capacity. Verizon is in the process of upgrading its facility located at the above referenced address
and we seek your review of its proposed modifications.
To upgrade technology and improve the speed of data communications for its customers in Butte
County, Verizon proposes installing the following:
• Removal and replacement of two (2) existing panel antennas with two (2) replacement
antennas.
• Installation of one (1) surge protector and four (4) remote radio units behind the antennas
• Removal and replacement of eight (8) existing cables for nine (9) new cables.
The following installations will occur within the fenced equipment space:
• Installation of one (1) surge protector on a new H-frame
There is no increase to the height of the facility nor does this project entail any change or expansion
to Verizon’s ground equipment/lease area. I included drawings depicting the proposed upgrade.
If you concur that the proposed upgrade at this location is code compliant, please indicate by singing
