Provide 2 test holes for soil evaluation in area of existing drainfield leachlines (see
description below for test hole description) You provided the test holes, but our
assessment differs from yours. We identified clay loam and fractured rock. We believe
that soil fractures will not provide the treatment of effluent as required by current code.
However, the system was previously permitted by our office and will not require upgrade
to current standards for soil type and treatment until the use of the system expands in
the future. This item is therefore satisfied. WE STILL NEED YOUR COMPLETED SOIL
MANTLE RESULTS FOR THE TEST HOLES NEXT TO THE EXISTING SYSTEM.
Provide ________test holes for soil evaluation in area of proposed reserve area leachlines
(see description below for test hole description)
Arrange soil evaluation to be performed jointly by Butte County Certified Designer and EH

Arrange soil evaluation to be performed by EH staff You made these arrangements and our
