This requirement is satisfied.  Locate of all drainfield leachlines, “T”s, elbows, and distribution boxes using one of the following methods: a.If these onsite wastewater system components are identified using an electronic locator: (1) The work must be performed by a Butte County Certified Pumper, Installer, Designer, or OM&M Specialist, (2) The certified specialist performing the work must submit a signed, scaled as-built drawing of the system, and (3) The top of ROCK HOUSE Evaluation Requirement Checklist for Existing Onsite Wastewater System Update: December 18, 2014 Page 2 the leachfield lateral and drainrock must be exposed for inspection of the pipe and drainrock in a minimum of two locations; or b. If these onsite wastewater system components are identified by physically probing through the ground surface: (1) The work must be performed by a Butte County Certified Pumper, Installer, Designer, or OM&M Specialist, (2) The “T”s, elbows, distribution boxes, and ends of each drainfield leachline must be exposed for inspection, (3) Arrangements must be made for inspection by EH staff, and (4) A scaled as-built drawing must be provided to EH staff at the time of inspection You verified a number of system features with our staff and provided a scaled drawing as-built of the system. This requirement is satisfied.  Provide 2 test holes for soil evaluation in area of existing drainfield leachlines (see description below for test hole description) You provided the test holes, but our assessment differs from yours. We identified clay loam and fractured rock. We believe that soil fractures will not provide the treatment of effluent as required by current code. However, the system was previously permitted by our office and will not require upgrade to current standards for soil type and treatment until the use of the system expands in the future. This item is therefore satisfied. WE STILL NEED YOUR COMPLETED SOIL MANTLE RESULTS FOR THE TEST HOLES NEXT TO THE EXISTING SYSTEM.  Provide ________test holes for soil evaluation in area of proposed reserve area leachlines (see description below for test hole description)  Arrange soil evaluation to be performed jointly by Butte County Certified Designer and EH staff  Arrange soil evaluation to be performed by EH staff You made these arrangements and our staff inspected the test holes with you.
