Scope of Project:
The need for the new building is for the treatment and boarding of very large dogs. The
existing kennel building only has an evaporative cooler and does not keep the dogs cool
enough in the summer. The use of the existing kennel building is being used to its full
potential. The total number of kenneled dogs will not increase.
We will be removing all of the concrete and fencing associated with the existing outdoor
kennels. That area will be replaced with grass. The new grass area will be used as an
exercise area for dogs that will be housed in the new indoor kennel & treatment building
as well as the existing treatment room.
Matching the new roof to the existing roof would make the two buildings look more
uniform. This would entail and extra 213 sq. ft. of new lot coverage.
