March 25th Board of Supervisors hearing to review draft Housing Element
March 27th Submit draft to HCD (60-day review)
March 27th – May 26th Draft at HCD for 60-day review period
Late May 2014 County receives a “conditional compliance” letter from HCD
May 22nd Planning Commission hearing to recommend adoption of the Housing Element and
approval of the EIR Addendum
June 10th Board of Supervisors hearing to adopt the Housing Element and approve the EIR
Addendum
June 13th Submit final Housing Element to HCD (90-day review)
September 2014 HCD certification
*Note: Once the County has received its conditional compliance letter from HCD, it is typical for HCD to provide a
certification letter within a shorter timeframe than 90 days.
